I’m rewatching and just realized the captain is actually the first prince of the seventh peak.
Clues leading to this conclusion:
-The first prince is said to be eccentric and mysterious. Cap. Chen is definitely eccentric and I’m 100% sure he is not at the qi condensation nor foundation level.
-During the the third prince’s introduction he brings along lots of from his trip stating it’s for the first prince(we all know how much cap. chen loves fruit), and there is also the mention of a smell coming from a particular fruit, later we see the captain with said fruit and someone comments on the smell once again.
-The captain knows way too many of the plans being enacted in secrecy by the higher ups. He possesses more intel than the core discipes.
You know what? I’m going to read the novel to confirm this.
Hahaha, and here I thought it was going to be a chill episode, after the crazy stunt they pulled in the previous episode lol. Then we see MC and his Captain looting after that nice little conversation. This donghua is really full of surprises, bro. Even though they live in a very desolate and messed-up world, at least they have some good moments. 💪 💪 💪
