the donghua covers about 2 chapters per episode and the manhua is 150+ chapters ahead of it. so they’ll leave a gap of some chapters between the two. they can do 50-60 episodes..

author abandoned the novel a little ahead of the current donghua position. but i heard he’s the one writing the manhua. so manhua is following the story of the original author.
And what about the donghua ?
donghua is following the manhua, though designs are different, some manhua designs are good though, like Ning’er’s manhua design is the best, the fire goddess’s design is also very good. but most of the character designs are average or bellow average.
Also some lines are added/modified a little bit. current position is still within the range of the novel so those lines could be on the novel though I don’t know. but as long as the manhua is there the donghua will continue I guess
