But I gave up waiting for it and started watching the episodes.
The show is as good as ever, its just the dogshit movie is still missing with all its content between then and now. The Blood Ancestor and the deal he made with that Old Guy Flamespark here. And how he became Corporeal Yang and all his new and shiny legendary artifacts.
All this context is missing. Of course, when you watch the show instead of waiting for something that will never come. You can easily fill the gap with what you see and what is shown.
But for this much stuff to actually missing as movie or episodic content, is really bad for all viewers.
We watch shows like this to not have to fill in missing content with our imagination.
Not having the movie is like skipping 10 episodes because why not?
