This cycle that he’s gone on is actually really interesting. I like that its not the typical old “soul possesses body of person with the same name” situation because man do I hate that troupe but its also really interesting in that the mirror of samsara kind of acted like a computer backup where the life he’s living now is his FIRST life and his parents found the treasure, he got to a point and then died in this life and then that life was PAUSED while he reincarnated and had a whole other life, DIED in that 2nd life and then continued with his original life right AFTER his 1st life ended while dealing with the issue that caused that life to end in the first place, man, this is some premium time-space fuckery and I’m hear for it. To top all of this off

I think Yun Che going back in time to Cangyun continent and meeting his wife as young girl might actually be why they even get married during his second life in the first place. After its confirmed that they really went back in time which I thought was the case from the begining, I think the reason Su Ling’er marries 2nd life Yun Che is because when she comes across him however that happened during his 2nd life, she would think about how similar “this” Yun Che is to the one she met as a child and she would think about the amazing time they had and then when she finally remembers the issue of fiances now that she’s older, she would be completely open to marry someone that reminds her of that big brother that saved her all those years ago, never knowing they were the same person the whole time. This situation is exactly the same as what happens in sword and fairy 1 the game and the live action c drama, I highly recommend you watch it but some of the changes they made for the live action are not as good as the original game story, but this whole “going back in time to meet your wife as a child and have a profound impact on her” shtick happens in it

In reply to Douluo. My Theory is that, even though his family has had the mystic vigorous energy for generations, they've been treating it wrong. What they've been doing is waiting till heaven-phase mystic power and then letting it awaken automatically. This method will cause the energy to settle at random colour determined by the quality and quantity of training a clan member has done. BUT (probably) what they should have been doing is that anyone at heaven phase should force the younger generation to awaken early and they'll all start on red energy but through hard work, anyone* has the potential to reach gold energy
