It may have been because she didn’t know if their daughter was still alive. Telling him about her without knowing if she is alive would be painful for any parent to hear. It reveals her feelings towards TY are still strong enough that she doesn’t want to hurt him.
Actions speak louder than words. During the little birthday trial when they were still trapped inside the dimension. The scene when Rou’er and Tan Yun held onto each other to get that stalker to give up. When they let go of each other’s hands. Focus shifted to her hand and we saw Rou’er drag a finger across his palm before letting go of it. Her actions betray her words. That isn’t something a person with no attachment or love does. Its what happens when a person feels something they haven’t been able to and wants to last for as long as possible.

True True I think were very fortunate that much info was released. They could’ve just as easily left her parents identities out of the Donghua story.
I think everyone is really happy they didn’t. The potential to expand on this new revelation is BIG, really really big. At minimum it helps move the story forward.
I can already see her acknowledging being very happy she found her parents and they just happen to bring along a dozen sister-moms with them. And all of them doting on her. giving lots love and attention. Which is something she would have had the chance to experience in life just yet.

She actuaklly knows her father is Hongmen Supreme (Tan Yun). She also knows that her father was killed by the two supremes, if you remember she killed a fellow disciple a few episodes back, when Tan Yun was running rampant in the 9 Hongmen god realms.

She however, doesn’t know that both parents are back. She vowed not to get between the feud of her parents too. She also vowed to avenge her father once she’s strong enough.
