NOTHING of what has happened in this adaptation follows the proper timeline of the original novel, NOTHING. it is 100% made up garbage “based on” the original novel, using the same world, character names, trope, plot, but the story itself, is just some made up shit by some author that likely hates the original work author and decided to re-write it into some awfully bad story that got “amazing production quality” studio. that is all.
