This Heavenly Flame is one of the top 3 flames to ever exist, so after all the crazy fighting and maybe some backstabbing along the way, the taming process is definitely another whole episode of its own. 🧐 🧐 🧐
It’s good that they are showing in this episode that the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame is not that easy to beat in the first place. I think the power scaling must be somewhat huge since for example when that idiot deputy chief of hall of souls wanted to fight Xiao Yan bro ran away so fast when Ziyan appeared. 😅😅😅 But still it took this many Dou Shengs to deal with this Heavenly Flame fam, sheesh!!!

in my understanding about why the Hun clan had the 2nd heavenly flame is that they have a alliance-like relationship, their relationship is way older than the other Ancient clans. Am I the only one who gets bored by long fights, enemies that keep getting back up and persistent chasers? I’m not talking about BTTH, I mean ALL animation. It seems that:
1) they don’t know how to come up with more original content so they draw out these scenes to the point of tears. Some fights are never-ending, lasting from full episodes to several episodes and even entire seasons just to get rid of ONE MOFO, and
2) as they know what keeps viewers up, most of those watching are easy to please as long as they have big bangs, booms, shiny colours and fancy effects. And skin, plenty of skin with mouthy ball-breakers. Chinese men in particular seem to have a thing for difficult unreasonable women, and their women have a long tradition of associating violence with affection. It’s centuries or millennia old, the notion that “If he hits you that’s because he cares.”
It spreads these stereotypes to weak minds outside their cultural sphere, not to mention sexualising kids which is definitely not a Western thing but it’s creating fat internet ninja-couch slobs and pervs. And the revenge mentality is shocking too. Little kids swearing bloody revenge and meaning it too.
All this moral squalor desensitises people and creates armies of nasty mental dwarves and moral imbeciles who think they’re clever as long as they’re sneaky and keep up the deceit.
Last but not least, sexualising kids, normalising perversion, fragmentation of mental health, identity, family values and collapsing the family cell which was our biggest strength. They want us isolated and weak. Family is like everything, it has its annoying and painful aspects but maintaining the integrity of the whole keep the parts together and safer: when one messes up or can’t go on, the others jump in
and keep their functions going or sort out the mess; p e is great at physical strength but not so so good with business, but the younger brother might be a genius at that; one is a go-getter while another is the organiser or the perfect diplomat to keep public relations and the politics in their favour, one builds, everything he touches flourishes, another might be the best-keeper and family feeder; o e us hot-tempered and keeps danger at bay, another is gentle and restores balance and harmony; one is great at war while another is great at resolution and peace.
