might be a reference to Soul Land and Perfect World/Shrouding The Heavens? The “fatty” from Shrouding The Heavens is the same Fatty from Perfect World, apparently, and I don’t remember Soul Land having cultivation “realms”, just levels.
Also, wasn’t the Fatty from Soul Land a golden chicken?

In reply to Neverland. I could be wrong, but at 20:27 at the start of the show Ending, the second book in the stack (below the top one) kinda looks like a crude drawing of the 100 evil spirits walking thing. Perhaps this event is more important than a simple one or two episode side-quest?

Given he was 13 when he met up with Captain Li he should be around 14-15 max here and he’s already experienced a lifetime of evil and trauma. He’s survived two God’s Eyes so maybe there’s a link between the strange phenomenon he encounters so frequently that’s supposed to be rare.
