Finally, the greatest Mr. Fool is back! Actually, I can’t wait for all the seasons of LoTM donghua because LoTM 1 reigns at the top of my novel list. I’m the type who prefers reading then watching, and have read the novels of ErGen, IET, The King’s Avatar, Slay the Gods, etc. I knew LoTM had been famous for a few years ago but at that time I wasn’t interested in reading it because of its unusual power system (Beyonder? What’s that?).
However, after watching the first 2 episodes of LoTM S1, I was very curious and immediately read the novel. I finished the LoTM 1 novel in less than a month, and this novel immediately dominated the list of my favorite novels until now. My impression when reading the LoTM novel: at first wow then Wow until WOW! Almost every volume has a part that makes me cry because the writing of the story is so great -it is very deep, emotional, humane and logical; an extraordinary way of writing about the journey from an ordinary human to a god that is not only about extraordinary powers but dominated by madness and crazyness (which is very different from typical cultivation stories), and what is unforgettable from the novel is Klein’s lampoonings!
For those who like LoTM donghua, I highly recommend reading the novel because the novel is absolutely PEAK! It is not surprising that the LoTM novel won several awards and Klein as the MC dominates the list of top donghua characters. But if after reading the novel up to volume 2 you have difficulty continuing, then the LoTM story may not suit you because as the title suggests, this story is full of mystery from the beginning and if you read carefully from the early volumes, everything is connected very epically in the following volumes. Praise The Fool!
