fr it’s nice seeing Great elder help out shi hao, I mean since he’s the only one still alive who have walked this path plus errone be leveling up like crazy (Shi Yi’s double pupil) got a huge upgrade too and yoo finally Void Dao realm(FYI in the novel it was more brutal e.g body being erased by the heavens,bones broken,flesh torn apart,being burnt by ten thousand Dao flames , different from just using it to refine the body for an immortal strand/aura .

Also his outfit isn’t physical but an embodiment of his inner Dao (Body as a seed , describe as not depending on heavens and earth’s dao but his own Dao= not receiving acknowledgment and protection from the heavens anymore but will now depend on himself in the future ) those yin/yang fishes are gates opened within him unlocking unlimited power turning his body into the universe/different universes aka cosmos if we use novel terms buh depends on how many gates he opens (its stated that he defied the heavens here and wants to even transcend/surpass the heavens)
