But I am confused, back when the Zhou Yi arc happened, he was a man in love with Ting’er’s corpse (Qin emperors daughter). Then magically corpse came back to life for a little bit; then the Yin corpse sect wanted her body for obvious reasons. But back then they specifically said he forced himself to become “ascended” at cost of his life. But then the Sword sect leader came so ascended wasn’t enough then Zhou Yi sacrificed himself completely to become the new Rain sword spirit.
So am I right so far or did I miss anything?
Now my question is that how the fuck he became so strong? Wang Lin supposed to be very strong ascendant. But the sword spirit is so much more OP? When Zhou Yi didn’t even become ascended properly. What confusing hacks!!!

she saved him by turning him into celestial sword spirit. zhou Yi is so strong because of that sword that weapon is very powerful. you can guess how powerful that sword must be that even ling tianhou a peak Nirvana cleanser cultivator wants that sword so bad.
