is this just one of the recap movies, or continuation of story and worth watching? so many are just “movies” that are really a shortened version of the whole season or arc

nope it was a continuation of the story, in the novel,zi yue got engaged with wang teng, zi yue was forced to accept that engangement from their clan and to save her, ye fan goes to forbidden zone to get the coffin as a countermeasure against great emperor weapon from ji clan and wang clan,so bassically that
and when did I say it wasnt a continuation? All I said was whatever this movie covers hasn’t happened in the series which was the OP’s question if its the recap of an arc/season
