not to spoil but in sl5 tang san is transported to a different plane and has to start cultivation again from the beginning except tang san just becomes so stupidly powerful that if you read sl1-4, non of the main characters can compare.
bro he becomes way too powerful at one point that the will of that world wanted to annihilate him because his power was already threatening it’s very existence. then when he finally ascended to godhood, he was literally a cheat because the power he wielded from the accumulation of experiences of 3 lifetimes was just too much, you remember how in the original soul land he was already so powerful being a reincarnator and being so meticulously smart with the extreme luck of having such a formidable bloodline and being half human half soul beast, yeah in sl5 it got ×10 worse.

did really watch to understand or you watch for fun… cost soul rings and all were well explained i the beginning. this sl2 happening after thousands of years. its only natural for the latter to be more advanced and stronger than the former.
I think the way the author went with SL2 is that we saw the grind in SL1, he then wanted to avoid repeating the same path and so is giving SL2 more emotional growth in these stages than SL1. Given that most of the story outside of the war has been about his devotion to Dong’er even if it had been obvious to everyone Wutong was her.
The Larger issue we have next is how are they all going to deal with what we saw Juzi do. Is Dong’er going to care/trust YH, and what about TS, will he think that YH cheated on his daughter. Because Juzi did an insane thing.
