Still, they really had to make it more flashy with their reunion, like damn. It’s like they haven’t seen each other in years or something lol. I guess in a way it did feel like years since you boi has been busy, and he was spending time with Tang Wutong, who didn’t have her memories back yet. I forgot that she got all of her memories, which means including her time when she was in the God Realm. 🤔 🤔 🤔
It’s cool to think that after 140+ episodes, we get to see Tang San and Xiao Wu again, even though as side characters this time. At the same time, in a way, this is like a bonus hands-on training cause they are fighting a Super Douluo. They are not as insane as Limit Douluo, those people are already half a step to becoming Gods. We know this is also to test out how these 2 are going to pair up together again after so long, and Huo Yuhao even lost the self-made techniques he had when he lost Wang Dong’er. It was good while it lasted, so they need to make new ones since he got her back now. 😤 😤 😤
They are having a wholesome moment, but what I can’t freaking wait for, though, is him finally meeting Rong Nianbing in the next episode, fam. Our boi is already the God of Emotions here, and his donghua still doesn’t have a new freaking season, which is so sad to watch, actually. 🥲 🥲 🥲 And I feel like we will never even get it cause there is no news about it. The episode for me was just okay. a lot of it was from previous episodes so not much went into creating it this time. Which meant they had extra budget to spurge on the new material. The graduation requirements are a joke. Military accomplishments alone should be more than enough for both of them to graduate with flying colors. I’m guessing in the novel it does. But for the show they can use the fact he hasn’t graduated yet. To create several no brainer episodes. In the next episode it looks like we will get to see food boi or his offspring maybe. Which might be a nice change of pace.
However there’s one or two minor details that have been changed in the story. What is up with this show always throwing a screen shot of Huo Yuhao’s half brother smiling next to a girl? Like he’s important. His claim to fame is he’s an asshole who was instrumental in the death of Huo Yuhao’s mom. He’s never liked Yuhao. However his constant aggression towards him and the world is gone and he even smiles. WTF to that! We should have seen Huo Yuhao kill the prick off in one of the battles in another country. Its like Huo Yuhao has been brain washed. He seems to have also forgotten his unsubstantiated hatred towards his father. However, from the size of burial that was made for his mom. It’s obvious the dad cared a great deal for her. If there was scene letting us know Yuhao let go of his bitterness because it was clear his dad did in fact love his mom. It would help, but justice has not been served to 1st wife for throwing them out of the house and having half bro and family guards beat her to death. You can’t sweep that stuff under the rug.
Anyway, Its great we got to see the original couple of this series. But it only took close to 150 episodes according to AoD. What happened to Xaio Wu’s bunny ears? I guess they make Xaio Wu too sexy for the g rating series this show has been morphing into the past year, so it can be syndicated around the planet.

The graduation test was the same way in the novel,the donghua didn’t change anything or speed it up and some of yall gotta remember that they are animating from a novel ,and military accomplishments which only yuhao has but it doesn’t pertain to anything the academy wants,Well in the end yuhao cannot go anything to th duchess and he doesn’t really hate huabin but the duchess cuz huabin “was a kid”
