Basically SL author is the most hated person in China, because his Disney-like novels gets passed, while novels with darker themes like Revered Insanity got cancelled because of him. Renegade Immortal would've been cancelled too if it was written in modern times, because the SL author is a massive hypocrite who wanted Pro-censorship and wrote guidelines to ban novels with darker themes like anti-hero or going against the government.
