Wang Xin, director of “Love Between Fairy and Devil,” and Nishii Terumi, the chief animation director of “Jujutsu Kaisen,” have joined forces to create a high-octane new animated series that combines Chinese-style martial arts with interstellar science fiction. Adapted from a novel by Wen Zhou, it tells the story of Li Xiongmao, a human boy raised by demons, who leaves the Black and White Mountain on his master’s orders to kill three enemies who destroyed the demon race. Amid investigation, he uncovers the conflict between humans and demons, the secrets of the dynasty, and the mystery of his own destiny.
