In reply to K K. More comparable is radar and even using most cutting edge technology, I think the limit is max to max 10,000 km (for full 720 deg detection of a football sized object in say within 10s).

Nope, telescopes are not even comparable. Cultivators are doing radial spiritual sensing – i.e. in all 720 (solid angle) degrees. While a telescope only does a ray projection discovery – i.e. beaming light in one direction only (Hubble covers only 0.0001 degrees at a time for example). So covering a billion kilometers radially is truly mind boggling.
