Is like chinese version of Final Fantasy games series.

From the info i gathered, each game title is standalone story. Even though they are in same universe but they can be ten or hundreds years apart. Not strongly related.
No need to know sword and fairy 1 and 2 story. Actually, timeline wise, sword and fairy 3 is earlier than 1 and 2.

Not that I know of even at first I was surprised they made this one. I just don’t get why they picked the 3rd title

Where winds meet exists, most people will be playing that.
Is there a prequel for this donghua ?

I mean it’s based off of a game after all fam so not a lot of people would wanna try it
