oh the novel reader strike again smh. As you said they completely changed the storyline then it implies it’s not related to that novel at all and is an entirely different entity on its own. It makes sense to not compare the two. How hard is that.

Problem is not with the donghua. Its with you- you keep comparing it to something it has no connection with except for the characterisation

It has amazing graphics and is very stylishly executed. Mc is peak and so are his friends.

This donghua disappointed me greatly. The novel storyline was very good and immersive, but they completely ruined it with the donghua. If i hadn’t read the novel i might have liked the donghua,but since i read the novel before i just couldn’t digest the crappy storyline of the donghua. They only kept the characters same, but completely changed the damn storyline. I don’t know which morons brilliant idea it was.
