Okay Episode 1: We see the demon saint Qianqu who Meng Chuan and Hai king fought at the end of the 2.5 special is still alive in the Cang Yuan world.
He mentions how Meng Chuan has combined the Saint and Devil Venerate to create a new cultivation path. Then take notice how he mentioned the Devil Venerate/Fiend Lord, he says “you dare to play with fire, what do you know about the Fiend Lord (devil venerate), you dare fuse with it”. This is interesting, we really don’t know anything in detail about the Devil Venerate path as it is newly discovered, showing that the demons might have had some bad experience regarding the devil/demon path.
Then we see the picture of “the space of the Fiend Lord (devil venerate)” They go on to explain that the Three corpses and Nine worms are the reason for the Devil Venerate path losing control trying to devour.
In season 2 episode 29 Xin Wu is speaking to Meng Chuan about the paths Meng Chuan fused together to form the triune path. He said the devil venerate path is our final hope, and he wagered he would stay true to himself. But he was surprised about MC taking the Divine Demon Path (triune), which also includes Saint path, and body refinement which he says will be the worlds salvation or the harbinger of its doom.
The devouring power of the Demon Venerate is trying to devour the other paths because the Devine Venerate power is far too weak, me must reach the Fifth Firmament: Infinite (Archon) (King) to unleash its full power. Which is the last lesser realm of the saint realm.
Back to s3 episode 1. Qianqu’s strenght has recovered more and is currently at fourth level Demon King, which is the equivalent of the Darkstar Realm in Devine Venerate path which is the lesser realm/phase that comes before Infinite (king). The strength (not realm) Meng Chuan is displaying is equivalent to the Fifth Firmament: Infinite (Archon) (King), which is the realm he has to reach with his Devine Venerate path. MC is currently at the Second Firmament: (Enduring). To reach the Third Firmament: (Great Sun), he must grasp the blade intent.
In the middle of the episode Zhuang Sheng said he thinks the reason the demons are invading the Cang Yuan realm is because their world has been devoured, which goes back to why Qianqu is giving Meng Chuan a “warning” about his new path.
