This Donghua is from the same creator as A Record Of Mortal’s Journey To Immortality. So expect a well-developed, slower-paced story. Because there’s no such thing as a well-developed, rushed story. We see this in Battle Through The Heavens, an anime with so much potential, but because of the rush it ended up full of plot holes, and that’s not just in the anime; I read the novel and the ending is very bad because of the rush. I read the novel of A Record Of Mortal’s Journey To Immortality and the story is much more tightly woven, without many plot holes. So this author is the author of A Record Of Mortal’s Journey To Immortality, The Gate of Mystical Realm, and Demon’s Ascension. I don’t know why Demon’s Ascension isn’t on this site; it already has a first season with 16 episodes. Both Demon’s Ascension and The Gate of Mystical Realm are developing the story well, I’m enjoying them, and I’ll possibly end up reading their novels. So if you like poorly told and rushed stories, I don’t think this donghua is for you.
