Am I the only one wondering why Elder Jin ended up being so weak when she’s doing anything besides harassing Shi Mu?!? Obviously yes the barbarian was Earth Class, but most of the attacks that happened were his. She was busy constraining this guy with the snakes but where was her poison whip and other skills? This was such a bad way to undermine her power while then once again having her threaten the MC at the episode end.

I don’t know if they are trying to do the Medusa BTTH thing where she’s constantly saying “his life is mine”, but I hate it. It doesn’t work in this plot line because she’s not as strong as Cai Lin and 2nd she has no real reason to threaten his life other than her insecurity and jealousy over not being desired by him. What a farce! Then I find out the viewership was poor in China so we may not get another season of this for years if ever.

When you consider Bilibili has Mortal’s Journey, Herding Gods, & Immortality as their flagships I fear they will move on to other series like Ever Night and The Other Side of Deep Space before putting more $ into this one. Hell they even have Walking The Way and Aliens Among Immortals going though both of those aren’t making much waves nationally or internationally. We’ll be lucky if we see a new season in 2 years.

Gotta admit, Martial God Asura knows how to tie things up. They leave you wanting more but not unsatisfied. I’m so annoyed they only gave us 26 eps. I wanna see more of Yanluo in action. And aside from MC, they didn’t bother showing us how the others are doing. I almost forgot about Wang Tianhao and MC’s sister.
If this is paced like RMJI then I’ll probably wait until they’ve released 100 eps or more before picking it up again. Assuming there will be more episodes.
