Tbh the character who was against Mo Longzi was tired because of the previous fights he had before and he was poisoned, this fight was unfair.
l don’t read and i didn’t the novel, but i felt that for no reason the screen writers buffed Mo Longzi and they nerfed his opponent like it was the last fight of the season. 🤷♂️

In the novel Mo Longzi hides his true level to Shen Cangsheng, so when they fought before he was holding back each time. In other words Shen was never a threat for Mo Longzi, besides the dragon supreme lords gave him a lot of buffs to make him stronger because he was considered a “genius”.
Damn, the villains be getting special kind of plot armors fam, sheesh!!!
I don’t like bullshit powerups be it for the villains or the protagonists. Mo Longzi was literally being chased the whole time, when the fuck did he have the time to power up?
lol my exact same question. How, just how? He barely made it out last season last episode, when Mu Chen almost turned into a demon fighting this guy. And since then, this guy is on the run, nonstop.
A good episode with Flashy moves/techniques but mid fight scenes,

This show has become utter trash
The whole half face mask is annoying, adds nothing to the overall feel of when our boy fights. No where in the novel is there a half mask.
what very fucking slow progress
The show has gone downhill. There is a lack of character and world-building and all we have now are fights and nothing else like Perfect (mediocre) World. Natural cultivation progression is thrown out the window in favor of timely power-ups. Everything feels so hollow and soulless.
They need to bring back the Season 1 production staff.
