Agreed, gaining access to that inner realm only accessible through the spirit in the last episode unlocked and opened up a bunch of sensory abilities he needs going forward. Like seeing what’s going on with that rock wall those scientists can’t.. The women quipped right up saying there’s nothing on or about that wall that’s unique. It’s obvious the wall is also interacting with the bamboo boat.as well. There is a massive amount of energy in that bamboo. The MC didn’t hold back did he. “Can i have a rock or two” They all look all him likes he’s mental. So he came up with a lame excuse. It surprised me nobody said something later. The group he’s been asked to join. Should know that everyone is different and each person will have a one or two abilities that others might not. With so few cultivators, You think they wouldn’t overlook that fact.
Lastly, the woman in the bamboo boat appears to be very much alive. Her consciousness reached out and made a connection with the MC. Crying blood from her eyes clearly meant she’s not happy about having her blood sucked, which lowers her overall life force. Its good they won’t try to dissect her now. I doubt she failed a tribulation. It would seem more likely she went into a deep meditation state for and unknown reason and has stayed in it since.
