In reply to kathy. The cringy moments are there, but you forget this is literally like a Tencent style Disney show which is supposed to be catered towards kids . It will have those cringy moments, "power of friendship" troupes, and the MC's team being like power rangers poses, and MC is too nice for his own good. I guess it was like this in the novel too since its the same universe as soul land. But this one at least has top notch animation and amazing visuals . I would say still still worth a watch.

dropped this 10-15 ep ago as I couldnt stand anymore how cringe and campy it gets. beautiful visuals but without any soul- never made me feel anything significant. always found it lackluster but stuck with it as it killed time.

just came to see how the sentiments were regarding its finale and looking at the comments, I aint the only one who wasnt much of a fan here

The one quality thing that came out of this series was the movie about Electrolux

I am not caught up with it either , I paused it around ep 150.

Its like the soul land experience. The animation is top notch, but the story is humans fighting demons (the good vs evil kind of plot ) scenario. I prefer the demon hunter better though. The romance is there but some moments here and there can be cringy and power rangers type teams. I can overlook it because the animation quality and battles make up for it.

The MC is the nicest goody-two-shoes guy you will ever meet, never has evil thoughts or motives, only selfless and cares about the greater good to protect his friends and family.

I give it a 8/10 , its not one of my top donghuas like Fanren but still good enough to binge watch .

In reply to WHITE ECLIPSE MORNACH. Fanren brings out its beauty in it's superior animation and story-telling. The details of the characters look life-like and beautiful, story and world-building is superb. Character emotions and motives are so realistic, they don't feel like robots. Censorship is less and music is superb, battles are also well-made. It truly captures the essence of what a donghua is supposed to be, I have yet to comes across anything better than Fanren to date ...
