Not the worst doesn’t mean it’s not bad. Sure it could always be worse, but it was seriously lacking for an episode that concludes and finally puts 7 goddamn seasons worth of story and characters to rest. It was just disappointingly forgettable.

It feels so weird to have a cultivation donghua END, honestly. I think Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation is the only other one I’ve seen that’s actually been finished, and that was more like a mystery taking place in a cultivation world than a story about cultivation itself.
Fighter of the Destiny [Ze Tian Ji] is a 2d cultivation donghua that has an ending, good one at that. They’re currently bringing out the 3d version named Way of choices.
Thunder Celestial got the Xu Yang special, at least this MC is only killing him until he has repaid the sins of his clan. Serves him right, he should have been like Luo Feng and held his people accountable. Now his family is dead and he has to pay for indulging them instead.

I feel the final season was rushed. The book has much much more detail in regards to the events of the final season.
Absolutely fantastic adaptation, and the creators did an amazing job. I just feel a little bit disappointed that the season was not fully fleshed out. It could have become 24 episodes.
Another thing that upset me was the entire story Our guy spent billions of years just to finally marry his wife, and she barely smiled at all in the final episodes and everyone was injured but we did not see what happened to them. What happened to mist city.
But still 9.9 out of 10.
Read the final chapters of the book if you want a much more fleshed out set of events.
So who is this 1st brother is it lin feng or someone else had pretty good run for this series enjoyed all the eps but hoped that made it abit longer or gave another episode explaining what’s going to happen or something.

is there any relation between the spaceship that qin yu started learning his space/star techniques from and any of these universe creators or whatever? who was it that made that spaceship? because wasn’t it that cultivation path that led to qin yu becoming a universe creator?
The spaceship and the star techniques belong to Lei Wei who originate from Earth. He only invented the first 6 stages. It is not related to the universe creators. Just that the Qin Yu’s black hole stage later managed to connect to the hongmen space and use its resource.
Qin Yu’s son at the end is adventuring on Earth who currently has an anormal amount of people of unpredictable fate gathered.
I feel like theres gonna be a new one but its now the son to start his own journey until he get stronger. Looking forward to it if this is gonna happen

That ending came.. well, unexpected. It’s a very weird and rare feeling seeing a donghua have an actual finale. The first seasons before he ascended were the best in my opinion after that it felt rushed and the story lost a bit of its flair. All in all, solid donghua, can only recommend!
Thunder dude dying over and over was so satisfying. Hopefully there is no reincarnation for their entire lineage.
I guess since they already married and had kids, there was nothing left for them to show at the end. But it was still good. As someone who got into donghua last year, this is my 3rd to end after SL and ToS. I’m off to look for something else to watch.

Im not satisfied with the ending but for me its bcz i dont like endings ,even if they are good it just feels like i have to say goodbye to a part of me, to a good friend… but the end has to come and there is nothing else left to say in this story , our Boy got his girl and even created his own universe and not only that but can harness that power to benefit him in the other verses, there is nothing left to do for him or for us to see, well at least its a good ending and they didnt do the BS that the boys and stranger things did… well time to say goodbye and if i ever lose my memories ill look forward to rewatching this story .

season 1 to 3 were trash. season 4,5,6 were great. this new season is boring, nothing happened that couldnt be done in ep 1 why waste 12 episdoes for this trash ending. this season 90% MC wasnt even in more than two frames in ep.
