this ep is an adaptation from ch 266-268 it’s not perfect as in copycat perfect but imo it’s adapted very well~ i sorta hoped that they will adapt qin mu drawing ling yuxiu into donghua~ btw next ep little poison king will be called together with palace grandee (qin mu) to attend emperor and imperial preceptor and heal their injuries~ so yea next ep is gonna start from ch 268 lower part..
in any case, tales of herding gods is just one of zhai zhu’s masterpiece, he also wrote several others such as: exalted emperor, rise of humanity, walking by the abyss of thin ice (lin yuxiang), selected day ascends (choose a day to soar/a good day to ascend).. i presume these four series are actually in continuation with each other but tales of herding gods is an independent one. maybe zhai zhu’s newest novel: on the avenue (on the great dao), is actually related to tales of herding gods? i’ll tell ya when i know or maybe someone here can just tell me lol~
