Its been years sinc I last read, but it was like 800 chapters in did he finally see her. Its literally impossible for him to for her, for anyone in Blue Pole Star to find her since their cultivation is not high enough yet. Give it a rest. He isn’t going to find her for many episodes.

I’ve also clarified that the donghua doesn’t establish this very well, but he did, and will continue, searching for her. He will not find her for years, and even Jasmine will not be able to find her later when the MC helps her rebuild her body, since Yue Chan is enclosed by the barrier of the Phoenix Tribe’s village, and more specifically, by the remnant of the Phoenix itself. Even though Jasmine is from the upper realms, the Phoenix would still be above her in cultivation level, even if it’s only a remnant. Jasmine will also lie about it, as she thinks Yue Chan has to be dead since she can’t find her even after reaching the God Realm. The main character will believe her and continue looking for Yue Chan for many years afterward.
I know it’s his first “wife”, why else would I say sex when in the episode they only said “consummation”, but it was a marriage in name only, it was to fulfill her father’s promise, with the intention of her going to basically never seeing him again afterwards.
I read your comments and that’s why I previously wrote “they couldn’t spend even a minute on a search montage” because I shouldn’t have to be told by you to know that, to know that in the novel he takes responsibility in protecting his women.
The problem I have with this episode is moreso that he’s not even sex or affection starved (because he just got married for real) yet he’s practically begging his original “wife” for sex, and not even making sure that she even wants to upgrade the relationship from “wife” to wife, almost like it’s a given that when her cultivation is stable enough that they’ll have sex. And the way he was talking to her about it, he was not manly in his mannerisms, he was almost like a giddy creep who can’t wait to take advantage of a “marriage right”, now that he’s strong and influential enough.
Also the principle of “if you can’t protect 1 wife, you don’t deserve more than 1” which I expect Yun Che to follow to some degree, yet even soon after the mother of his child, who loves him and he loves her (so she’s practically his wife already), is lost, he doesn’t feel enough guilt for not being there for her, or for not being strong enough, to make him hesitate in taking responsibility for more women (or more accurately, in finding sexual satisfaction from more women…). He should be focusing entirely on becoming stronger so he can protect his numerous women (“wife”, wife, lost wife to be, aunt, etc.). How soon he can have sex with them shouldn’t be top of his mind.
