The shit show is back, I skip many seconds watching this show, idiot studio. The excitement ended after the engagement battle back at years ago.
i started this donghua in 2019 right after soul land and martial universe, now its ending along with the Hate it gets every week.
Hope there will be a remake from the Fallen heart flame, but highly doubt it.

Yes battle through the heavens is peak trash. It has fallen off so badly, man. They delayed it for months, and this is the storyline we waited for? Every episode feels like a fantasy story written by a six year old. Did the author just get bored of writing? The story feels like it’s been falling apart ever since the Three Year Agreement arc. I’m fine with Xiao Yan facing challenges and getting power ups, but it’s the same thing every time. Some nobody taunts him, he beats them up, then someone stronger shows up, kicks his ass, and he runs away. And somehow, his helpers are always weak as hell even when they’re at the same cultivation level as the enemy. What’s the point? Everywhere he goes, someone’s talking shit, and it never feels like he actually shuts them up. He just listens to all their bullshit, spends ages dodging attacks, and waits for someone stronger to interfere. When he has a powerful move that could end the fight, why drag it out instead of using it and moving on? It’s the same cycle over and over, and the last few episodes have been even worse.”
The series getting so dull and boring. Same with the latest season of martial universe and the great ruler. Gone from amazing to recently repetitive garbage.

Worst donghua in existence, trash characters, shit power scaling , reused and recycled models, 0 romance, dumb NPC villains, too much yapping, 0 IQ rage-baiting by the retarded MC, ugly generic models especially xiao yans, repetitive fights, shit story, simple linear straightforward plot, too much plot armour by this shit MC, The female lead is the most annoying stupidest bitch in donghua history, never stops saying “xiao yan Ge-Ge”, like stfu you dumb bitch , and I can go on forever.
This is absolute garbage writing feels like im watching a plot made by a 6 years old kid, no charater devalopment power ups makes no sense or have any hint of originality his power up is just budda lotus spaming? Omg what next? A bigger budda lotus? Maybe a more colorful lotus? And then keep spaming it? Damm i used to like this series but it is just getting worse and worse i am just watching it for the sake of ending it but they lowkey just fuck up this donghua.

Its baffling to see the ruination of this donghua, there was a time when i used to wait for sunday to come to watch this, that was probably when it was yun shan vs xiao yan absolute cinema no less but after that i just moved to the novel prolly cuz the season ended after the fight and his escape, i dare this studio wouldnt show the same scene when xy kissed yun yun on a dessert let alone showing any affectionate scene between medusa & xy, and xuner after her new model she turned into a bizzare entity at some point, gradually i stopped watching the donghua like i used but i cant just give up and sometimes i binge watch new eps when i feel like it, and this comment section is outrageous

One of my biggest complaint with this show is the lack of low tier cultivators once he gains a new level. Like it’s such a massive glaring problem. They are unable to show the power of the characters, the scale of the map is too small and the battles are quite francly pathetic. The continent is supposed to be enourmous and their power are supposed to level the land with each attack.
WTH is the studio doing? You have a mix of very high quality assets, like they are straight from quixels photogrammetry shop. With way too much detail, like some rock formations here.
And on the other hand you have the poorest PS2 ground textures with textures even stretched, which looks just awful.
And the character models with their colour and lighting does not fit into that environment at all. They almost look Cel-Shaded.
Its like the 3D artists don’t know what the hell they are doing!?
Did you ever play a game from the 90s and then slap a 4K texture pack on top of it? It almost looks that bad.
If you can’t manage to fit the colour pallet with polygon density and the correct object lighting. You have a visual mess. Which is exactly what this show has become.
Because they didn’t upgrade everything to a higher quality level, just some assets. And it hurts to look at.
i also hope they don’t show gu xun, she looks so piss ugly
more waiting, they seriously making us wait for a donghua that lost it’s grace, the first hiatus, then the mini hiatus AGAIN almost immediately after the first AND now ANOTHER one for the movie. trash studio.
