I have never watched this donghua. sword and fairy 3, is there a sword and fairy 1 and 2 prequels ?
Idk why but looks like its not very popular.
I mean it’s based off of a game after all fam so not a lot of people would wanna try it

Not that I know of even at first I was surprised they made this one. I just don’t get why they picked the 3rd title

From the info i gathered, each game title is standalone story. Even though they are in same universe but they can be ten or hundreds years apart. Not strongly related.
No need to know sword and fairy 1 and 2 story. Actually, timeline wise, sword and fairy 3 is earlier than 1 and 2.
Is like chinese version of Final Fantasy games series.
