This Trilogy of btth tgr and martial universe all feel the same with too much academy arcs and competitons where mc is undertimated but later becames winner. You can also tell the tragectory of the story coz the main villian is deducible.
Can’t argue with that~ 😅

Thats a widespread problem with these medieval cultivation donghuas. Most are almost 90% the same. The main characters are a joke, not because they are weak AF till some point of the story when it shifts, no. Because their personality is just a walking meme.
I don’t remember the name of the other show, where the MC is a cook? And everything he does is clowning around plus slapstick “humour”.
They try to be funny for the sake of being funny. And i can’t laugh anymore when i see this corny unfunny try hard shit nonstop in your face.

The MC’s simply have no quality and character writing. They are on the same level as these fuckshit Japanese Isekai MC’s. When mouldy bread has more character than these guys…

It looks the same but it’s entirely different now. Then they moved onto China’s Donghua.
Thats the short version of the truth.
Once i was great. Then i turned into shit season 2 where nothing matters, and shit is made up on the fly the moment it becomes convenient. And my transformation looks like i bathed in mud and shit for 2 weeks and it became a crust.
Between season 1 and 2 is when the THEY showed up claiming they can make it look even better. Oooops they lied.
