Whether it’s AI or not-AI, I don’t really give a damn as long as they make it a good story.
They use the means available to them. Not everyone has access to good CGI and AI doesn’t make it any less worthy, if the creators don’t go the sloppy route. Some teams have good CGI and still deliver shit; others can deliver greatness with limited means so it gets no prejudice from me.
It’s still early days so I’ll give them time to grow into their role and polish the story’s rough edges.
It’s unfair to judge a story based on the start which is why I also never rate them based on the first episodes. Sometimes they put all their energy into a shiny start to get good early ratings, then get sloppy; others start more tentatively then find their feet. Only time will tell. It’s only 16 eps anyway so I’ll wait and see before I bang the judgement hammer.
