I’m going into this without rewatching S1.
S1 ep1 was one of the most brutal starters of a donghua I’ve seen, and I’ve seen a lot. It almost made me not watch more but the series is stunningly beautiful so I’m glad I continued.

I love her sword. It’s simple bamboo, probably she made it herself, but already has details carved into it that show her feminine side and her love of beautiful things and nice accessories.

It’s b4 she receives the heirloom sword, she seems to have discarded it after that. It shows up first at 2:58 (on the default server), then we see it perfectly from ⏱️ 11:40 to 12:10 when she is sparring with red head.
