This has to be the fasted pace I’ve seen this year (13 chapters one episode)
Well most of them were the same thing for like 2/4 chapters straight but they did skipped some parts I wanted to see
Well lil info missed from novel ( 😪 they skipped alot but the only important thing they really skipped was his true suffering) .
During this Refinement or experiment Shi hao’s flesh melted away, bones severed and crushed to dust, blood and organs turned to paste and was all made into great human medicine which the three supreme beings were consuming, only his skull was left cause of his primordial spirit being there and the restrictions on it too.
He was crippled( cultivation ruined, dao skills, divine force and essence severed) he physically died. It went on for days to a week continuously but he didn’t scream everyone watching was so shocked and amazed.
(In the novel there were six supreme beings present during this Refinement (three from 9H&10E and the other three from FR)
Gu clan ancestors has issues with Shi Hao’s sin bloodline ancestors (which we heard the foreign realm geniuses say during the Refinement) one of the reasons he took things to far.
When he died, they went to heaven Burning land to retrieve Phoenix blood to help him go through rebirth but before then they took him to immortal platform to heal his already damaged primordial spirit ( he met chi menghong, Chi pu’s nephew the supreme being Meng Tianzheng captured) he wanted to kill Shi hao but couldn’t due to the current situation.
The two supreme beings went to get the blood first but the Phoenix told them to bring Huang ( he should come take it himself) them the second time they came with shi Hao, he picked different bloods. Note picking one blood is even hard so him having many options shocked both the blood phoenix and the supreme beings before finally choosing the pitch black blood.
They went back to immortal platform where the rebirth began ( during the process their world perfect great dao and his own dao were in chaos, the blood also changed now having two coloured red and black ) the black blood caused the rebirth to fail but shi hao has already gained consciousness and his body a bit healed.
Great perfect dao and divine order of chains trances were left inside him due to the failure, his body also broke down again so they sealed it with divine force so he won’t explode, same time protecting his skull.
They took him to Gu clan for them to use Yin Yang furnace to reserve time and finally half shi hao, Gu clan have innate power of space and time so he already knows the rebirth will fail and they’ll eventually come to him.
He asked them to bring heaven precious treasures for the refinement, days later they brought them all with their descendants(due to the trances left in shi hao’s body it’s perfect for helping them comprehend their own perfect Great Dao).

People were also present during this, Shi hao woke up and decided he didn’t just want their perfect Great Dao to use to create a new true body but wanted to fuse all three realms great dao using body as seed in perfecting his own dao ( the one he comprehended during his last tribulation).
Which he did but didn’t fully succeed, he still half crippled but a bit healthy now.
Yu Yu brought an emperor decree so he can use it to control the Yin Yang furnace and steal Shi hao body as seed secret but the furnace rejected up the decree and it backlashed at them ( the studio changed it to shi hao rejecting it and kicking their asses which is wrong).
Note : fallen blood phoenix is also from the Nine heavens and ten earth, he also has issues with Gu clan that’s why he even accepted to allow Shi hao take the blood.
Note : Yin Yang furnace is a supreme treasure capable of reversing the universe and recreating natural great luck, it’s top shii ..
Only immortal Emperors can fully bring out it’s full power and it’s associated with the prosperity and decline of the Gu clan…

Ngl, this part is confusing af. Actually the Gu Clan’s action was ambiguous.
At first it seems like the Gu Clan supreme being is doing that out of spite for Shi Hao, and then later he brought SH to see his Supreme Ancestor, hoping to present SH as gift for his ancestor to break through to Undying King realm. Then the ancestor rejected his descendant right out, saying if he had to rely on a young guy to break through, then he might as well just sit out and die.
