It’s still your choice whether you want to watch it. For me it’s alright to pass the time but it never will give the same hype as SL1 did though, that one still gives me goosebumps even to this day.

And compared to Soul Land 1, this show is actually bad. I think i don’t have a single character i give AF about. They could all perish by the sword of the Asura god. And i would not care. Yu Hao even belongs to the least favoured characters in this show for me.
I only like the Ice Scorpion Girl, only true waifu of this show. The coldest, hottest and most poisonous girl at the same time.
These 2 didn’t make a very smart decision, did they? They knew mermaids would not trust humans because the evil soul masters were killing mermaids and using their souls to level up. They also knew what Tang San meant to the sea beasts. However, when the mermaids attacked, as expected, they decided to escalate and fight, showing off all the wrong skills till they got themselves in a tight spot and then used the right skill. Should have done that as soon as the fight started.
I wonder if they expected the mermaids to directly offer them a seat at the table for negotiations.

it’s not on the same level of sl1 story wise but it’s worth the watch, the fights, choreography and animation are way better than sl1 since it’s new obv. and sl1 ‘missing’ plot holes and lore are filled and explained better here.

Man i thought we get to see Tangsan showing some moves, he did but more like a cat walk, i mean fish walk maybe. Then showing us his past life looks, not sure if it even relate at this point when his past life story’s over. That mermaid princess really suffer though, so sick, remind’s me of how btth’s hall of souls was creepy then but they seems to be weak now.
