The worst arc of Soul Land 1 was the two seasons of full on battle arena. Every single show, be it donghua or anime is instantly worse when they do an Arena arc. Not a single anime was better because of it. YuYu Kahusho became fucking boring. And that entire anime was arena shit.
It even degrades Dragonball. And that is probably one of the most prominent animes doing that shit.
Arena of the gods worked because it was open area and battle royal, all vs all.
