hmm idk if it’s lovely but they totally changed ziyue’s character.. ziyue is bratty and mischievous but she’s never a crybaby. in the original story, as they eventually met in the starry sky, they talked over night and not even once ziyue go cry like that. she herself said she’s not like that. but the concern and longing are real. this is the problem w script change. ye fan became aura farmer. ziyue became a crybaby. also that sentence from ji haoyue, tell ye fan if he treat ziyue as neighborhood sister, you better leave her soon. that sentence was spoken too soon! it was supposed to be after haoyue came back from starry sky and experienced a tragic awakening himself regarding love~ so yea imo, everything is ruined… 😥😫😢

hmm, i get it.. but u remember how they adventured to bronze immortal palace in early donghua episodes, right? ziyue has signs of bratty and mischievous but never crybaby.. yea man, what i’m saying is donghua destroyed the plot by bringing some things into much earlier timestamp (like haoyue’s reprimand sentence) and destroyed her unique character (where she can face separation and reunion with calm and elegance, not even shedding tears of joy).. i mean the only time she probably shed tears of joy is when:
maybe cuz he’s unconsciously an older generation (descended from perfect world). he’s reincarnated from fatty cao~ so, he used reincarnation imprints and burial transformation technique to corpse transform his body into an immortal body.. basically these reincarnation imprints are the ones shi hao used to cultivate his primordial spirit into immortal king. but our fatty cao used it to cultivate into true immortal level.. we can see the difference in insight. moreover.. shi hao used 10 imprints, cao used 9 imprints.. even later at sacred ruins, he’s only reached a level of half-immortal emperor (dao ancestor)..

I was kind of surprised, but then again, it’s understandable. The episode was calm, one can argue that nothing major happened per se. Just a precedent to the Purple Mountain Bell Toll arc (as seen at the end of the video).
