i still feel that the romance between ye fan and an miaoyi is a bit strange and incomplete.. like the beginning between their story is strange and their interaction developed too fast but ofc if we ignore that part the whole thing including this episode seemed ‘perfect’. unlike the meeting between ye fan n ji ziyue.. i felt donghua did really well for ye fan and ji ziyue. well they kinda added more interaction with ziyue as well. partly cuz their interaction begins pure feeling – friendly attraction – mainly cuz of ziyue’s character herself. other girls begin their interaction with more or less ‘sensual’ attraction, which might be banned in censorship. idk, tell me more on your opinion~

Beautiful twin episode. Helped me remember who she was with those flashbacks as YeFan passed by on the little boat. Ngl, I had trouble remembering her after so long. Tencent skips so many of the romance scenes (if they include any at all) that it makes it hard to feel anything for their relationship in the donghua. Still I enjoyed the conclusion as we all know who the best girl for him is anyways.
