And here I felt isolated with the troubles I’ve been having lately. At least once a day a Nod thats a couple miles away vapor locks requiring me to reset my fiber modem. yesterday it was 5 times. ofc this episode has no major fault imo.. and i’m not trying to tell how bad this episode it is or not. this one, for me is a pass, regardless of inconsistent plot there might be. i mean it’s kinda cool and presentable, plus it didn’t touch my bottom line. my bottom line here is the world structure that chen dong (the author) made and the cultivation system he made. like if that’s not even fulfilled, u might as well go to shonen manga and have fun.
but then, i’m just telling you how illogical it is for ye fan to single handedly destroyed yinyang.. he just broke through immortal platform, even if yinyang sect is ruined, they still have foundation and sect array. that’s why in the novel they said ye fan toured the city three days to set up an array of heavenly source. also ye fan is talented. the most power he can sustain is at least 8 minor realms cross. like he can fight against at least is 9th level of 1st heaven of immortal platform realm during that battle against yinyang sect. yinyang sect was an ancient sect, even if it’s not that old, it should at least have a defense array of 2nd of 3rd heaven of immortal platform realm. against 1 major or 2 major realm difference, ye fan can’t just drive his cauldron against the array. moreover, even if his cauldron is strong, it can still be destroyed, what’s indestructible is that xuanhuang mother qi. the so-called material of the beginning of the universe.
well ofc i’m enjoying this episode (172) and trying to check the old eps as well. i’m currently watching ep 162 where ye fan (2nd heaven immortal platform) is fighting side by side with old madman (6th heaven immortal platform).. he presented the “all” character which is in accordance to the novel. do u know that he can either use “all” or use 8 minor realm cross (forgot the official name)? he can’t use both, not until he mastered divine forbidden realm, where he can fight against those 9 minor realm and above! so yea~ 4 major realm is impossible to cross, no matter how great ye fan is~ he’s just an ant against those great saints! ok.. he didn’t go head-on so it’s sorta acceptable.. anw i’m just telling my piece and will get lost kindly. just remember that few previous episodes got botched plot and many of those are quite apparent if u look at it from pure donghua perspective (no novel). but ofc if u discuss cultivation system and level u can’t separate it from the original material/novel. after all, this is adaptation. not a new creation.
I’ve come to realize completing the Donghua before reading the novels is the better option to fully enjoy the stories now 🗿😂

That face-slap was insanely gratifying. Starting to feel like disrespecting arrogant opponents with a slap has become a fundamental law in this universe —first MT and now Ye Fan LOL
