Praying for Buddha, stoning the Buddhists. Helping the people? People are scum in general. They can’t help themselves but when you help them they turn against you. Let them
help themselves: give a man a fish, feed him for a day; teach him to fish, eat for a lifetime. As for the rest, they can f- themselves. Mind your own business and don’t cause harm, help when it’s needed but don’t get entangled in it, especially if they keep making the same mistakes. That’s the best philosophy. Those who need will always be in need, those who give can’t keep giving forever. You give to one and another 1000 show up, hell nooo.

Fun fact about the “teach a man to fish” proverb

The idea and messaging resonates across cultures and histories that even the Chinese adopted it in their works and present it as one of their ancient saying, but from what I found looking up its origin it’s apparently a European, either Italian or British in origin from around 3 centuries or so ago

Which for a proverb, isn’t considerably as old lol

That’s interesting. I love learning stuff like this that, history, origin of words.. we learn a lot of connections from it. Me being European, I love it even more. The Chinese are an ancient culture full of traditions but they can be a bit shameless in claiming other peoples stuff to biggen themselves up sometimes. Thx for that!
