Having a powerful friend on your side is always a bonus. 💪💪💪 They always try to underestimate Meng Chuan of what he can really do. Like, let our boi cook cause we know he will deliver at the end of the day, he always pulls through in the end that’s for sure.
Kind of sad that they are showing us a flashback of that girl A’yu before she became a prisoner/slave. In a way this is them giving us context of what really happened to her and to all of those people in that village. She really went through a lot of crazy shit bro, damn. In the last moments of her life she was able to save a few of them when she ran away so even when she died it wasn’t in vain. RIP to her 🙏🙏🙏
Aweful how many good people have to keep dying for the greater good in this. Without them constantly sacrificing themselves or even worse like this situation changing things so literally get themselves killed for abetter future. So many more would be dead.

Meng Chuan did the time reversal back then and some of the space-time energy got into her. She could foresee the future and she clearly knew she wouldn’t die. In the “original” timeline, one after another of those people were taken away from the prison and they were obviously eaten, and she was the last to be eaten. At that time, Meng Chuan appeared and coincidentally saved her. She ran away, past where Meng Chuan were fighting the demon and reached the burning tree (no idea how it ended up burning though)… In that timeline, Meng Chuan won the battle, which I have no idea how he managed to do so without any help, and he told her that he was sorry that he was late to the rescue. She decided to change the future by escaping earlier, before any victim was brought away, at the cost of her own life. Apparently other than foreseeing future, she could also project herself to the future, allowing Meng Chuan to see where she ran to.
I always forget just how far ahead of me you are sometimes haha.

The previous timeline’s future Meng Chuan was the one that burnt the tree with lightning. The one we saw in episode 26. No wonder Meng Chuan was confused about who cut the tree since that future was changed.
The first time she discovered the tree by accident while escaping, which is how she knows where the tree is and helps MC find it.
The demon cannot understand how MC found out about the tree since the girl had been killed in the past, however since she was among the few people that witnessed the timeline change she gained the ability of foresight and was able to use this to leave clues for the MC and save the other ladies.
The girl was a hero for the sacrifice she made. I’d like to think that at the end she just returned to her timeline.

there is nothing to explain tbh i think u should rewatch again if u couldnt understand the episode…tldr she witnessed him rewinding the time from s1 and it affected her or rather..killed her but was able to save the others instead.
