Honestly, was Xianglou just the weakest of the bunch? Because he seemed kind of like a pushover. Or maybe once the realms and ranks get high, the animators just lose the plot and have no idea how to animate the power scale anymore lol.

Meng Chuan is probably only weaker than Qin Wu rn when in his Saint-Fiend form, and still needed the Asura guy (at least Marquis level), and Changle with the dragonvein amp (this amp would’ve made Xianglou the most powerful saint demon, for some perspective).
Plus the only reason Meng Chuan was able to kill him is because his space-time affinity allowed him to find his true form. Neither Asura nor Changle were even able to see the space-time ring.
Xianglou isn’t weak by any means, he just faced three top tiers in the verse with one of them having a direct counter to his immortality. The powerscaling is still quite consistent.
